Clarity Over Complexity
We take the complicated and make it manageable.

A letter from the founder
I've spent over 20 years in risk management, cybersecurity, and IT risk, working across financial institutions and technology companies, helping organizations prepare for the unexpected and safeguard what matters most with precision and care.
But it was a quote from Arthur Brooks that shifted everything for me: “You are the founder of your life.” As women, we are incredible entrepreneurs when it comes to the enterprise of life. My life (and yours) is our ultimate venture. We are each the founder, owner and CEO of our own existence.
Yet as I poured myself into what matters most — family, friends, health — the day-to-day logistics of life itself started to feel overwhelming. Bills, accounts, documents, decisions — staying on top of it all is a monumental task. Building a company takes immense structure and discipline. Leading a life is no different.
That's why I built PharosLife. To provide that structure. To be the scaffolding and support system for the enterprise of you. So you can focus on the purpose, not the paperwork.
As part of the sandwich generation myself, balancing kids, aging parents, and the challenges of startup life, I understand that weight firsthand. When loss touched my own world, I saw how unprepared we really are. I watched capable, thoughtful people feel lost because no one had built a system for navigating life's most important moments.
PharosLife exists to change that. To bring clarity and quiet structure, whether you're planning ahead or in the middle of major change, so you don't have to carry it alone.
I'm also an MBA graduate from UC Berkeley Haas, and above all, a daughter, sister, wife, mom, and someone who believes we can do better for the people we love.
If you're here because you're planning ahead, I'm glad you're here. If you're here because you're in the middle of it right now, I see you. Either way, you're not alone anymore.
Welcome to PharosLife — here to support the enterprise of you.
Laura, Founder, PharosLife
We take the complicated and make it manageable.
It belongs to your family. Never sold, never used for advertising.
Whatever you add first is already more than you had yesterday.
You’re the customer here, never the product.
The same plan should serve all of it, not sit unopened until the worst day.
The calm, competent guide that shows up when things are hard.
One of the most practical kindnesses you can do for the people you love.
Every family holds critical information, scattered across drawers, inboxes, and individual memories. It works, quietly, until someone else needs it: in a transition, an emergency, or a loss. By then, it's too late to build the system that would have helped.
